Description:
The video is ridiculous. It makes a good point but digresses for the sake of populism.

I like Larry David for his comedy, I don't really take him seriously as a sustainability guy... The ad targets a niche group, and leaves out industrial water heating, and usage rates all together. I bet boiler rooms and large facilities are a huge contributer. Anyone Agree?

Makes a good case for being bald I guess?

The bald comedy aspect overdoes itself, but the point, being overstated, helps establish that hot showers cost energy. She understates the water heating case, or perhaps the baldness idea overshadows the essential point: Take shorter hot showers. For that matter, wash clothes in cold water.

This is the dumbest thing i have ever seen. Not once do that say well maybe you should turn off your light, maybe you should stop drinking bottled water, or driving that SUV. NO, NO, saving the planet is as easy as shower less. Although that guy does bring up good points about beauty products and blow dryers. I still take offense to everything else stated in this commercial. I have long hair. Im growing it out because i want to donate it to the cancer society. I use a 1.5 gallon a min shower head every 2-3 days to take a shower for about 30 min. I dont use a blow dryer, i dont use beauty products (oftentimes not even deodorant), and i think it is ridiculous that this commercial blames global warming on people with long hair who take showers and use beauty product and groups me in with them. The information about water is good to have, and if that had been all that this commercial had said i probably would have liked it, but i think it diverts the attention from the real problem that people only want to do the most convenient thing.
