Description:
I saw this last week on YouTube and thought that his idea to convert trash into the replacement for cardboard boxes is the coolest green product and service that I've seen since covering green businesses and practices. I checked out his company earthfriendly moving and The Recopack and found an even better video about green marketing on videojug: http://www.videojug.com/tag/green-product-designI think you need to talk to this guy about what he's doing- it's pretty amazing!

Sounds like a great idea. We could do with them in the UK. Love the term 'detox landfill'.

This guy is genuine. He is taking one-use items like laundry detergent bottles OUT of landfills and making them into multi-use boxes. Saves trees, saves landfill space. More companies should have this model of environmental responsibility!

I've used this service for two moves in the past year and they were the easiest moves of my life. I loved using a company that was green and I loved that it saved me a ton of time and money too. Thanks EFM and rent a green box!

I'd love to use these boxes b/c it's hard enough having to find boxes in the first place to move and then it's like you want to keep them b/c it was so hard to get but where the heck do you store all of them? PERFECT IDEA RIGHT HERE!! Man's a genius if only we didn't think of it first! LOL

I've seen other moving companies rent plastic boxes, but their boxes were made from virgin plastic. This green entrepreneur is going it right with recycled plastic. I'd like the ad to say how much of the boxes content is from post-consumer recycled plastic. Whether it's 10% or 50% makes a big difference to how green this product is.

Not too shabby. I would like to see lifecycle testing on this product before I score it a 1. I would also like to see the recycled content for the boxes. If these boxes break easily or are of poor construction, I would easily give it a 4

I would like to know more about this recycled box, how many times it can be used, and if it is recyclable too. Also if the recycling process is really carbon neutral.

I think this is a great idea and any impact to reduce waste, emissions and save trees is admirable. My only concern is with where these boxes are produced, overseas or locally. I am also under the impression that they use large trucks to deliver or move boxes, which is a large impact in the long-run. Keep up the good work!
