TXU wants you to forget that they're the largest generators of filthy coal power in Texas and that they recently tried to have the Gov. fast-track 11 new coal plants. They settled on 3 to show how concerned they are for the environment. The banner encourages you to find ways to celebrate Earth Day every day. Here's one: dump TXU as your electricity provider.

I think this is just an example of ignorance in green advertising. I don't condone it, by any means...however, I see this all the time, as the public only sees "green" as having only to do with the environment. It creates somewhat of a "green overkill".

This is ridiculous. Just in case there was not already enough green, they expanded the picture of the girl to include green grass behind her and “green” land in the image of the Earth. Nice catch.
